Happy 5th of July! I was so busy yesterday, I didn't have time to post on the 4th. It was a great day. It started with me marching in a parade! Okay, so I didn't march, Mom and Dad pushed me. But I was still in the parade. The neighborhood has a big party and parade, so there were a lot of kids, some fancy old cars, and police and a fire engine! Mom decorated my stroller.
I liked to pull the stars off.
Dad had his marathon training in the morning, and was quite tired by parade time, but still walked with us.
After the parade and party, we went home (I napped on the way) and got ready for the Logans to come over to play. Dad made yummy ribs (or so I heard, again, not allowed to have any) and Mom made a flag cake (ditto). Andrew liked playing with Dash. Then we all went swimming, which was a welcome relief from the heat. I was so tired I fell asleep on Mommy. Later on there were some fireworks outside, but I was fast alseep by that time. What a fun day!
The day before Mom and Dad got some decorations and toys, like balloons. At first I was a little wary of the balloons, but decided they were lots of fun.
They also bought some noodles for the pool. I'm so strong, I could life them up with two little fingers!
I'm getting better about getting on my hands and knees. Then I like to rock back and forth.
That's about it! Hope you had a good 4th too!
