Six Week Update

It’s already been six weeks! Here is a picture of me at six weeks (yes, in the monster socks- I’m wearing those suckers till I can’t wear them anymore).

So much has happened. Two holidays, meeting lots of friends and family, becoming master of my body. Recent accomplishments are being able to push my pacifier back in my mouth with the back of my hand (those pesky thumbs are still usually in hiding), if the pacie is still in front of my mouth, and then yesterday, twice!, being able to roll over from my tummy to my back. Of course that’s due to my head rolling over, then my body following. With a head this size (housing the massive brain inside), the body really doesn’t have a choice. Here’s a picture of me on my side, in process of the big activity.

Then Mom swears she heard me say “Mama” when crying. Hey, if that makes her happy, sure, I said it. Another accomplishment is being able to focus on the things in front of me. So the fuzzy objects are now becoming clear! I can see Mom and Dad, and follow their movements, and on the exercise mat, there’s a big caterpillar hanging over me. Grandma Peachy gave me some little animals all the way from Alaska, which I can see as well. We had a little meeting yesterday on the exercise mat, along with the lamb from Aunt Melly. Here’s a picture of that.

So that’s a lot in six weeks. Can’t wait to see what the next six weeks brings (besides Santa)!.

I think he's looking more like baby Hut as he grows. Still has the Coyne cheeks, no doubt.
