Last Post of 2008

I'm down to my last post of 2008. It was a pretty good year for me! First I hung out with Mom for most of the year, then I came out to meet Dad, and other family and friends. The move wasn't too bad, and there was a period of adjustment afterwards. But now I've having a grand old time, learning new things! Mom explained to me that while it's a new year, I'm still just shy of 3 months. Interesting how this calendar system works. Maybe I'll get the hang of it soon. Tonight we're going over to a friend of my parents' house to ring in the new year (if we make it that long!) I hope you guys had a great 2008, and if I haven't met you, I hope we will in 2009.

Love,
Harris

Christmas update

Goodness me, I thought I had updated this after Christmas! It was a whirlwind week. Christmas was fun, though I don't remember much. On the eve, Dad read "The Night Before Christmas" to me. On Christmas morning, we all started opening stockings, then had to take a break to eat before continuing on with my presents. My family was very generous to me! I got lots of great books, cool Pooh friends, stacking blocks, stuffed animals, a Baby See and Say, a toy chest and box, clothes, shoes, etc.! It was a fun time. My brothers and sisters also got toys and treats. Mom and Dad exchanged a few gifts, but mostly were busy helping me open mine. I'll be busy for months to come with them! It was nice weather, so Dad took me for a walk while Mom made a dish for our dinner party. That night we went to Mai and Ernest's for Christmas dinner. I was an angel, just the perfect dinner guest. Everyone said so!

Here are some pictures of me on Christmas Day:

After Christmas, Dad's friend Lou from college came to visit. He taught me about soccer and how to put your hair in a "faux hawk". I had my first dinner out at a restaurant (Mexican). Dashie really liked Lou. He was all over him, and even took to watching soccer with him (up close, and it was funny when he tried to step on the players).
So my next big event is New Year's, just a few days away! I think I'll be the cutest New Year's baby.

Two month check-up

I had my two month check-up yesterday. Doc says I'm doing great (naturally, as I feel great) and I am now 24 inches tall and weigh 13 pounds. Due to my rigorous work-out schedule, I'm close to sitting up on my own. I think I'm quite advanced for my age. See, here's a picture of me reading with Daddy, but this time it's Daddy's book:

Had shots given to me again, but I was a super trooper, even though I had one in each leg- at least I'm balanced. So far, no effects, which is great. Wouldn't want to be feeling badly during my first Christmas!

Speaking of, I hope you guys all received my holiday card. I finally allowed that half smile, after Mom took about 167 shots of me, and a few shots before her camera battery died. Here are some more shots from that session:

I'm sure there will be another marathon photo session tomorrow morning, when I "open" my presents, so come back soon for more!

Happy Holidays, everyone!

Getting ready for Christmas!

I've been pretty busy recently getting ready for Christmas. Or rather watching Mom and Dad get ready. There are presents under the tree that had to be wrapped, and yesterday we all made Christmas cookies. Here is a picture:

They are yummy!! We had some family over for dinner on Saturday night. I was able to meet 2nd cousin Andrew, who has lots of energy! I got some cool Santa socks from the Logans, which I'm excited to wear on Xmas day.

The weather is really getting cold, but that means I'm able to wear some great warm clothes. Mom and Dad got me a cute winter coat for Xmas, but we opened it early since I can use it now. Then Peachy's friend sent me this super cute, soft outfit, which has a big Texas sheriff's badge on it:

Tomorrow should be an interesting day. I have my two month doctor's appointment. I'll find out how tall I am! I think I'm growing pretty quickly, so I'm excited to find out how big I am now. Then Dad has a half day on Wednesday, followed by two days off, to play with me. What a great week.
Hope you guys are having a good holiday season so far. And congrats to Jenn, on her engagement! Guess she's not going to wait for me after all. :-(

Santa!

I went to see Santa yesterday. Sooo exciting I fell asleep. Here are some pictures (the professional photog got one of me yawning- these are Mom's pics):

It was a good thing Grandma was with us, otherwise Santa's helper in charge of the line might not have let us cut in (they start giving out numbers at 9 each day, to kids to start seeing Santa at 11:30. We got there after his lunch break, when they were handing out number 225- and seeing number 72. So we would either have to come back that night to wait in line, or come back in the morning to get a number, then return later for the picture. Wasn't happy with either choice, but at that time the line was fairly short, so he let us get in line. So we waited about 10 minutes- with Mom in line, and me waiting on the side with grandma to keep the area clear- which is why we could get in line (there were two adults)). Now we know for next year!!

It's been cold these last fews days, with small snow flurries this afternoon! At least that's what Mom told me- I was asleep. I think I'm going through another growth spurt. I'm curious to get my stats next Tuesday at the doctor's for my two week appointment.

2 months

Hello- I am now a day over 2 months old! I am getting sooo big. I am alert most of the day now, and am great at tracking movement, holding my head up, and scooting on my back by kicking my legs. I haven't rolled over much since my first few times, but that's old news and I'm on to other things. I like to make lots of noises and laugh, and Mom thinks I can say "Hi'. I'm sleeping better at night, going for 5 to 6 hours on the first stretch, then taking a little nap after getting more sustenance from Mom. I nap during the day depending on what's going on- if I'm not interested, then I nap.

Recent activities- Grandma came to babysit for me for Dad's company's holiday party. First time without either parent with me, but that was no problem. On her visit, we've been for lots of walks, as the weather was nice. It's cold now again, but will warm up later in the week. I like her visiting, as she likes to hold me, and I like to be held! So it works out perfectly. Here is a picture of me with Grandma:

Today Mom and Grandma are going to take me to see a man they call "Santa". I'm in my Christmas outfit, now that I spit up on my first outfit of the day. We'll write back later to let you know how that goes.

8 week picture

I felt badly about not posting a picture of me at 8 weeks, so here I am! The image is blurry cause it's cold here (or cause I was just moving). Seeing as 8 weeks ago I was in a place that was 98.5 degrees, having it be 25 degrees outside today isn't up my alley. At least I have cute clothes to keep warm in.

Gosh, sometimes I forget how cute I am. ;-)

8 weeks..

Another week has come and gone (has it?) It looks like the internet connection is finally fixed, so I can post more often. I went to Mommy's office yesterday. Seems like a nice place. Everyone liked my monster socks, so they are okay people. It was really windy, which I don't like. Today has gotten colder as the day wears on, so no walk for me today! Now it's 34 degrees- it was 69 yesterday. Crazy December weather.

Grandpa and Grandma D weren't able to come in to town, as Grandma D was sick. :-( Hope she feels better! Now that I've gone through it, I can sympathize. Or empathize?? Anyways, Mom and Dad got a real tree on Sunday, apparently the first one they've had. I guess it's nice. Smells good. And keeps Dash and Laney busy, though Mom doesn't like them taking off the ornaments- hey, I can't wait till I can do that myself! Mom took pictures of me in front of the tree this morning, but won't post pictures yet. She wanted me to smile, but I felt like making other faces. I was smiling a lot at Mom and Dad last night, cause they were talking funny. Strange people. But they make me laugh, so I'll keep them around for now.

Mom was able to hit some tennis balls on Saturday. She liked it, but I think she played better when I was with her. Maybe she'll get back there someday. When it gets warmer and less windy out!

Granma is coming to see me this weekend and stay with me while Mom and Dad go to a party. Oh, the things I can do while they are away! Stay tuned....

7 weeks

It's been almost a week since my last post, thanks to AT&T. I think the 5th tech might have, possible, fingers crossed, fixed the problem. So I'm 7 weeks old today. Time is flying by!

So I wanted to watch the UGA vs GA Tech football game on Saturday, cause Auntie Libby went to UGA and Dad and Grandpa went to Tech. It was hard to pick a side, but I guess it didn't matter since AT&T decided not to show me the game. (grrr). Well, I got ready to cheer for either side anyway. Here are those pictures:

I guess wearing the Tech hat longer worked, as they won! Sorry, Auntie Lib. Maybe next year (though you've had the last, what, 6 or 7 years?) I also had on a sock for each team.
Grandpa and Grandma Deborah are coming to see me tomorrow! I'm excited. Hopefully we'll put up X-mas decorations this weekend. My first Christmas- can't wait.
Mom has had a cold for the last couple of days. Bummer. Not surprised, as this weather is crazy! Warm but windy over the weekend, very cold yesterday, and warm again today! She got me a humidifier and saline drops to help me out. So far I'm okay, just a little congested after eating. I hope I have Dad's constitution, as he has avoided getting sick so far.

So that's the news for now. Thanks for checking in!

Six Week Update

It’s already been six weeks! Here is a picture of me at six weeks (yes, in the monster socks- I’m wearing those suckers till I can’t wear them anymore).

So much has happened. Two holidays, meeting lots of friends and family, becoming master of my body. Recent accomplishments are being able to push my pacifier back in my mouth with the back of my hand (those pesky thumbs are still usually in hiding), if the pacie is still in front of my mouth, and then yesterday, twice!, being able to roll over from my tummy to my back. Of course that’s due to my head rolling over, then my body following. With a head this size (housing the massive brain inside), the body really doesn’t have a choice. Here’s a picture of me on my side, in process of the big activity.

Then Mom swears she heard me say “Mama” when crying. Hey, if that makes her happy, sure, I said it. Another accomplishment is being able to focus on the things in front of me. So the fuzzy objects are now becoming clear! I can see Mom and Dad, and follow their movements, and on the exercise mat, there’s a big caterpillar hanging over me. Grandma Peachy gave me some little animals all the way from Alaska, which I can see as well. We had a little meeting yesterday on the exercise mat, along with the lamb from Aunt Melly. Here’s a picture of that.

So that’s a lot in six weeks. Can’t wait to see what the next six weeks brings (besides Santa)!.

Thanksgiving update

Another few days without internet connection. Grrr. Hopefully it will stay up long enough for me to enter in a new entry!

Thanksgiving- what a great holiday! A day where all you do is eat yummy food and be with family. That’s what I’m talking about. Sweet potato soufflé rocks. So does Daddy’s smoked turkey. It may take a while to cook, but well worth it. The tarts that Aunt Melly made were yummy too. Chocolate pecan pies, just my size! And the place cards that Aunt Libby and Aunt Melly helped Mom make are super cute. Here’s a picture of them.

And here’s a picture of me in my Thanksgiving outfit- Turkey onesie with my favorite monster socks. I let Mom and Dad be in the picture with me, cause they cleaned up well for dinner.

We also had Grandma Peachy and Grandpa Faux Pas joining us, as well as Uncle Hugh and Aunt Cassie with cousins Shapleigh and Merritt. We took a group picture, but I haven’t seen it yet. I met Merritt for the first time- she’s just a month older than me. But we were busy with our own stuff, so we didn’t spend much time together. Mom, Dad and I went over to their place the next day- here’s a picture of me with Shapleigh.

It was a nice weekend. Tiring though! I slept for almost 6 hours straight on Sunday night. Mom liked that. Then Monday morning Dad had to go out of town for work. I was wondering where he went (everyone but Mom left me!) and was missing him, and Mom explained he had to go on an airplane and would be gone overnight, but would be back the next night and will be spending 4 days with me later this week- yay!! Glad he didn’t leave me, and looking forward to being with him for some good Daddy time. Then it will be close to time for Grandpa Frank and Grandma Deborah to come visit. How exciting!

Bath time!

I love my Big Boy bath. It's nice to sit in warm water and have both Mom and Dad fawn over me. When I'm done, I smell soooo good! (till I have my poop). Here are some pictures of me after bath. I don't know why Mom and Dad fed me to a big frog.

Expressions

Sorry, my loyal fans. Our internet connection was down for over a day! So I wasn't able to post an update. I was reviewing my past 5 weeks here, and Mom took some pictures of my expressions when I was doing so. Here are a few:

Tomorrow is going to be a big day. I'm going to see Daddy's office, then his parents are coming in for a visit. So not sure I'll be able to add anything for a few days, but after the visit I'll have lots of pictures and stuff to share.

Went in my sling to the grocery store yesterday for the first time. I liked it as long as Mom kept moving. Then I fell asleep. Today I had a bottle for the first time. Same stuff to drink, but different way of delivering it. Took a little getting used to, but it was okay. At least Dad will be able to feed me this way, especially when Mom's away. She's looking forward to getting back out on the tennis court. Hopefully soon I will join her.

Tummy Time

As part of my growth process, I've been working on my tummy time. That is, the time I spend on my tummy instead of my back. This is to strengthen my abs of steel as well as try to minimize my flat spot on the back of my head. I have varying degrees of success during this time:

This time was okay, as it gave me time to spend with my best friends, my hands. A little bit of effort involved, hence the red eyes.

This session wiped me out completely:

Then my previous post shows a successful tummy time.

This weekend I discovered Fingers. Yay! They are much easier to fit into the mouth than the whole hand, much to Mom's chagrin (as my favorite time to explore Fingers is right when I want to eat). And pretty tasty too. Yum.

There have been a couple of meetings of the Boy's Club too. Here are pictures of the most important members:

Check out our cool shirts. Well, my cool shirt. President Dad wasn't wearing his Club shirt. Boo!

4 week anniversary

Today I've been here for 4 weeks. But not yet a month, even though there are usually 4 weeks in a month. How confusing.

Mom thinks I have an evil twin that sometimes takes my place. (I'll use that excuse to get out of trouble in the future). I just say that I'm a growing boy, particularly these days. I'm starting to outgrow some of my outfits, which makes Mom a little sad- especially the outfit I wore home from the hospital.

Recent firsts: first time to Einstein's on Sunday (I was in the carrier the whole time, quite comfy), first trip to the post office and library today (Mom forgot the post office was closed- oops!). First thunder storm last night. (I wasn't scared at all). First time crossing the big street on our walk. Posted my first video on Dad's Facebook page.

Mom needs to get on the ball about taking more pictures. Maybe she will now that she's figured out that when I want to eat, and she feeds me, things go better, and I'm happier and will make cuter faces. Tell you what- I'll have her post a new picture tomorrow in honor of Jennifer and Michelle's birthdays. Bah-ston girls rock!

Doctor appointment update

Had my follow-up doctor's appointment today. This visit went better than last week's. No shots, for one. And two, I'm back over my birth weight! I'm at 9 lbs 15 ozs- probably could have made 10 lbs if I didn't have two poops before I left. Oh well! Doctor was surprised I gained 9 ozs in a week, but he doesn't know how my family likes to eat. Plus I've been exercising, working on my guns. Through practicing conducting an orchestra, and working on my arm swimming strokes. And I'm getting really good at holding up my head. So most of that weight is muscle!

Mom and Dad set up my Baby Einstein mat last night. It's pretty cool. Sisters and brothers like it too. Here's Delaney with it, pre-set up.

Once she finally got off, I was able to use it. I even found a cute baby, when I was looking in the mirror. Here's a picture of me on the mat with Dad reading to me- wow, lots of stimulation at once!

I'm going to like this! We had a good night last night. Dad helped give me a bath in the big boy bath, which was fun. I peed in the water. Hee hee. I'm getting good at the peeing when there's not a diaper present thing. I got Mom and Dad separately the other day, and almost got Mom again last night (right in the middle of changing me- almost got her with #2, but she was too quick with the new diaper, after I got her a few days ago with that one). Mom has been working on getting me on a schedule, but can't say I've agreed to that yet. We'll see.

Aunties' visit

Hello-

Sorry it's been a few days. I've been busy having fun with my two aunties who came to visit me. They think I'm lots of fun. Mom was glad to have them around, as she got some extra sleep and they helped clean and stuff. Auntie Melly even cleaned out the pantry and organized the storage container cupboard! I heard Mom this morning trying to get Auntie Libby to take me home with her, till I learn to sleep through the night. I didn't want to go to bed last night after my first feeding. Got Dad up during the night too!

So here's what we did over the weekend: went to the park for a picnic and walk, had my first bath in the big boy bath, put my feet and hand ink prints in the baby book (took all three of them to do my hand print), went for walks around the neighborhood, learned how to write (or at least hold a pen), and had many photo sessions. Here are a few pictures of those activities:

Auntie Libby made me a cool blanket to help me keep warm. I helped her finish it:

It was a busy few days! I'm very glad to have had them come visit me. Can't wait till the next one!

Tomorrow I have another doctor's appointment. I've been trying to pack in the feedings so I can make birth weight. Cross your fingers! And hope for no more shots.

Well, need to get ready to go to the airport to drop off Auntie Libby. We went yesterday to drop off Auntie Melly. I'll be very sad this afternoon, as my adoring entourage has left me. It will be back to me, Daddy and Mommy. At least until Dad's parents come.

Happy Halloween!

Today I'm a Little Pumpkin. For part of the day, at least, as it's 80 here, and I don't want to be a roasted pumpkin. Here are my two looks for the day (check out the monster feet socks- how cute! Dash was a little afraid of them. It was funny).

And here's my other look:

I had a good night last night. I guess going through a major trauma really takes it out of you. Here's a shot of my wound. (I have the bandage on still to protect innocent eyes)

I hope I sleep well again tonight. Have to gather my energy for my visit with the Aunties!

Dreft vs me update

PS- as an update to yesterday's blog, my poop is mightier than the Dreft/Shout combination. I win!! Mom is going to try again. Go ahead, Mom, I got more of that where it came from. Heh, heh.

1st appointment

Had my first doctor's appointment today. Must say, I'm not a big fan. To be more precise, not a big fan of nurse Carol. She seemed nice, then stuck my leg with a sharp object, for no reason! I did NOT like that at all. And they made me take off my clothes. I had these really cute "monster" socks on today- those has to go too. Not looking forward to going back there. Apparently I didn't make birth weight yet, so I have to go back next week. I'll be chowing down this weekend! Everything (height, weight and head size) is in the 75%, so I don't know what the big deal was. Dr Nale seems alright, but he was all poking and prodding me. So I spit up on him. I mean jeez, at least buy me dinner first! He did say I can graduate to the Big Boy Bath. We'll see if I like that better than the sponge baths, though last few times weren't that bad.

So it hasn't been the best day so far. Hope things improve. It is Mom and Dad's anniversary today, if they aren't too tired to remember. Hope Dad likes the present she got him, as it was all my idea. Last night I had a hard time getting to sleep. So we're all just stumbling around today. One more day, then the weekend! I get to see Dad more, plus Auntie Libby and Auntie Smelly are coming to visit me. I'll start saving some spit-up for them.

Wednesday, October 29, 2008

2 week anniversary

Had my two week anniversary yesterday. Didn't do too much to celebrate. I did have my first outing, but it was to my mom's doctor. It went alright, I got a lot of cooing over how cute I am, which always pleases me. Really I slept through everything, which is a good way right now for me to go through life. Tomorrow is my doctor's appointment. Hope I don't have to get a shot like Mom did.

Had my first diaper blow-out today. Too bad it was on a cute outfit I was wearing for the first time. Guess we'll see if Dreft is a match for my superpowered poop. Aunt Georgia was visiting then, and brought over what looks like super yummy Milky Way cake as well as dinner. Mom and Dad can have the dinner, I'm going for cake!

Here is a picture of me at the start of my 3rd week. I'm waving, really.

Weekend Update

We had an up and down weekend. I was up most of the night Saturday and Sunday, which makes my parents down. It's just more fun to party at night than in the day. Saturday Dad did yard work, which I checked out for a while. He does good work. Uncle Hugh stopped by and gave me a plate with my name and birth info on it for the nursery. It's pretty cool and looks good in there. Sunday Mai and Ernest came by so Ernest could meet me. Then Dad and Mom took me for a car ride to pick up lunch, though I didn't get anything. :-( I did my civic duty in the afternoon, napping so Dad then Mom could go vote early. It was a nice day, so we then went for a walk, longer than we had been before. Then at night it started getting blustery (love that word!) and the wind made the windows growl. Mom got freaked out and brought me to their room, where I partied all night. I'm supposed to be napping now, but we'll see. Tomorrow brings another car ride, as we are going to Mom's doctor for her two week check-up. Mom told me Aunt Libby jumped out of a plane this past weekend. She's supposed to be coming to visit me this coming weekend with Aunt Melanie, so hope this time she stays in the plane. She looked very scared in the pictures. So that's 2 aunts who have skydived!

Things I Like

So Dash is a pretty cool cat. When I got back from my walk, he jumped up on the stroller to say Hello. He looks like fun- wish I was old enough to chase him around, but all in due time. Though I don't think it's that funny that he keeps pushing my baby pumpkin off of the counter. What's up with that?! Pick on your own pumpkin, man.

I love playing the game "Where are my thumbs?" Especially when I'm telling Mom, very politely of course, that I would like a bite to eat, and she's trying to accommodate me. Makes me giggle when I do this in the middle of the night (yes, I really do know my days from nights, but don't tell the 'Rents). Then I decide to play "Who cares if you don't have thumbs, just stuff the whole thing in your mouth" for a while. While crying that I'm never fed. Heh heh.

Other things that I'm interested in are: The Ceiling in the Den. Hiccuping. Scratching My Face. Making My Funniest Faces when the Camera isn't Around. Making My Own Schedule. My Bionic Ear. Oh, did I not tell you about that? During my hearing test, I got a 175 in my left ear (160 is passing) and a 461 in my right! Blew that sucker off the scale. Nurse hadn't seen a number like that in a while. This comes in handy when I need to hear what's going on in the other room, like when dinner is being served, so I can time my feedings properly (see previous mention of Making My Own Schedule). The other night I got it down perfectly- right when Mom's plate hit the table, I started crying for food. This supersonic hearing is going to be fun!

I also like screeching like a howler monkey. (I'm taking Mom's word that I sound like a howler monkey, as I have never heard one). Just randomly, to keep everyone on their toes. Any suggestions for other animals I can imitate? I'm thinking lion next, as that sounds more manly than howler monkey. But I'm open to ideas, seeing as my world experience has been limited thus far.

Oh, another thing I like is the website cakewrecks.blogspot.com. I think Mom has mentioned it before, but here is a new post that made her almost split her c-section incision: http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/2008/10/confessions-of-cake-wrecker.html Maybe the timing of it helped to tickle her funny bone, seeing as she recently went through something similar.

So that's a start of my list of things I like. Hope there are more great things to come!

Free from the cord!!

I probably won't be able to update this every day, but with new news comes a new post. I lost my umbilical cord today. Hooray, a belly button of my own! I did miss most of my afternoon nap, so we'll see if I'm up to celebrating tonight. Last night I had a good night, going to bed at a decent hour. Mom and Dad are hopeful it's a sign of things to come, but I have my own agenda. Only one more day till the weekend, when Daddy gets to spend all day with me. He's going to start teaching me about yard work. Sounds like fun!

First week, part two

I'm back. In a week of firsts, I think I might be getting my first rain storm. Could be exciting!! So where was I? Oh, yeah, first bath. Not like I want to re-live that experience! There are some times where it's fun to be naked, but this was not one of them. Where are the heat lamps?! Boris was concerned about me, as I was most upset, according to Grandma. That was sweet, but he's still not getting the changing pad. And no pictures of the bath, this isn't that kind of site! Now the first walk was fun, I think. I slept through it. But my cheeks bounced nicely as Dad steered over acorns. Here is a picture of us on our first outing:

And here's me showing my excitement for fresh air.

Mom and I went on another walk today. It was quite blustery. That's a fun word. I can't wait till I'm old enough to watch "Pooh and the Blustery Day". That will be a while off.
Aunt Mai came by last night and dropped off a yummy Mexican casserole. While I didn't have any directly, I enjoyed it vicariously. This weekend Uncle Drew and Aunt Georgia are coming by (they are really First Cousin Once Removed, but that's a mouthful for me). I love meeting family! I stay part time in the bassinet that Second Cousin Andrew used, which is cool. I won't meet him this time, as I'm still young. But we may go to the Christmas parade together, as Mom and Dad usually go with him.
So I guess that's about it for this post. Till next time!
Love,
Harris

The First Week

Hello, everyone-

It's me, Harris! So glad you wanted to come check out my view of the world. I do have a lot of time right now to think about things, as my schedule each day consists of eating and sleeping. So far the first week has been quite a whirlwind! It was almost exactly a week ago that I decided it was time for me to leave the safety of the womb and journey out into the dark and scary world. But I was curious to put faces to the voices I kept hearing. So on to better things. The trip itself was kind of chaotic. Turns out I needed a detour, as I couldn't fit through the doorway. Everyone is saying I'm a big baby. But they don't mean that in a bad way, like I'm too sensitive. Apparently I'm kind of large for my age, but I say they just make the clothes too small. So that was last Tuesday. The hospital stay was kind of fun, lots of things to see and learn. I met my grandma and Paul, and Uncle Hugh, Aunt Cassie and cousin Shapleigh (she wasn't interested in me at all) while there. Oh, here's a picture of me from then:

Check out those guns!! I look a bit different now, more like my dad every day. He's a good looking dude. I sooo have him wrapped around my teeny tiny figure. Here's the proof:

Here's a picture of Mom. She feeds me, so I think I'll keep her around.

We went to a new place on Friday, called "home". It's been interesting there so far. I like the room they keep me in. I do have to share with 4 other small creatures. I haven't had much interaction with them. They came and sniffed at me- I guess that is the usual greeting in this new world. Boris, the big one, is having trouble sharing the changing pad. No worries, there's room enough for 2! I haven't seen much of the beautiful black one, Tasha. She sleeps a lot on the couch, and I hang out in other areas. Delaney is really nice. She comes to check on me and seems the most willing to hang with me. Dashell hasn't been around much. He also likes the changing pad (I must say, I don't see the appeal- I don't have the best time when I'm there). He seems a bit subdued, so I'm waiting for him to show his true colors. We both kind of squeak at times. So that's a bit on the new hang-out. We'll see how I like the stay here.

Geez, I still have so much to go over! First bath, first walk, etc. But I need to save some things for later, to keep you coming back. I like having people interested in me. So feel free to leave comments (comments about my beauty will get faster responses). Not sure how often I'll be able to update, my schedule is kind of up in the air right now. But I'm sure there will be pictures (Mom is kind of crazy with the picture taking). Till then!

Love,

Harris
