World Traveler!

Okay, so I didn't go around the world, or even to another country, but I have had my first trip, and had a great time! Not so crazy about the difference in time zones- someone needs to do something about that. But there was tons to look at in the airports, and I had a nice comfy seat (Mommy's lap) for the flight to nap on. Had my first shuttle ride (bumpy!) Wasn't crazy about the car seat in the rental car, so I'm glad to be back in mine. And waking up in the middle of the night for an earlier morning flight is not fun, and I made sure Mom and Dad knew how I felt about that. But it was all worth it, as I had a great time on my trip to Atlanta!

I got to meet my cousins Sam and Maggie. Maggie wasn't so impressed, but she was fine with me as long as I stayed away from her Paul.

Sam was lots of fun to hang out with. He helped feed me, and we got to share a room for a slumber party Saturday night (though I didn't do much slumbering). Here is a picture of our first meeting:

Here I am with Uncle Travis and Aunt Amanda:

I also got to meet my Great Aunt Camilla and Great Uncle Stumpy:

On Sunday I hung out with Uncle Ben and Aunt Libby. Mom forgot to take pictures with her camera, so I have to wait for Aunt Libby's pictures.

We stayed with Grandpa and Grandma C, and their new dog Sophie. Sophie liked to lick my hands. It was funny. Grandpa and Grandma got great toys for me to play with, and I stayed with them while Mom and Dad went to Tonya's wedding. It was a really great time!

Bounce House

On Saturday I went to my first bounce house, for First Cousin Once Removed Andrew's 4th birthday party. That was a lot of fun! Mom and Dad took me on a lot of the inflatables, and down some fast slides. It was a superhero theme, so I wore a onesie that said "My Dad Rules the Universe".

And I got a balloon at the end that was fun to watch dance around on the way home.
Yesterday I wore my "Tennis Pro" onesie, and it helped Mommy win her tennis match! (another three setter)

Overall it was a really fun weekend.

Happy St Patty's Day!

Happy Irish Day from a McCutie and his McDaddy!

Kiss me, I'm Irish! Can't pinch me, cause I'm wearing green. :-)

Mr. Goopy Eyed Guy

How quickly time changes us and the looks fade. My beauty is still there, it's just covered up right now by my first eye infection (ahh, things we learn to share at day care). Dad says I look like Rocky, whoever that is!

Good thing Mom didn't take a picture before I started on the ointment- that was a true Friday the 13th horror movie- yellow/green goop seeping from my eye. On to nicer topics!

For my 5 month b-day tomorrow, Mom and Dad got me an activity center. It's super fun! Here is me helping Dad put it together.

He did a great job under my supervision. Here's the final product (I think he has as much fun with it as I do!):

Rolling, Rolling..

Rolling over! I just rolled over from my back to my front for the first time! Mom was excited and very proud of me. Here's a picture after my big accomplishment (Mom wasn't able to capture it in action, like when I first went from front to back):

I was encouraged by this, so I decided to go for sitting up by myself too (with a little initial setup from Mom):

What a big day for me! And I look super-cute while doing it all, if I do say so myself. :-)

Spring Ahead= Lose Sleep?

Whose idea was this? It's now dark when I get up for day care. So far, not a fan. This is throwing off my non-existent schedule! Here's what I think of DLS:

This is what I was like Before DLS:

Well, even with an hour less to the weekend, we were able to get a lot done this weekend. Mom and Dad FINALLY finished my toy chest and box, that Granma got me for X-mas! Here are some pictures.

(geez, even though that one CLEARLY has my name on it, Dashie is standing on it right now. Hmph!)

They are in what is being turned into my playroom. Yay, another room in the house devoted to me! That's 2 down, er, (can't count yet), but some more to go.

So I think that teething is being put on hold. No sightings yet, but I still like to chew on things. Like Daddy's finger:

Ummm, tasty!

Last weekend (not the one two days ago, but before that), Mom co-hosted a baby shower for my "cousin" Ernest V. I was hanging with Dad, Uncle John, Uncle Drew and cousin Andrew while the girls were doing whatever they do at baby showers, but afterwards I stopped by to meet some out-of-towners, like Aunt Roberta and Cousin Tracy. Aunt Louise just sent a picture of me with Mom and Cousin Tracy.

There was a red, shiny balloon off to the side, which was fascinating! Anyway, just wanted to post a picture of me crashing the girl party (I don't remember the one that they threw for me, as I was still in hiding).

I'll post later about my busy weekend, and the beginnings of my new playroom!

Where does the time go?

March already!! Wow, time is going by quickly. It's the 3rd day of March, and the temps have gone from 80 to 30 to 70 over the weekend. I just don't know how to dress! Here I am in short sleeves:
(Dad and I are wearing our Life Is Good shirts that Aunt Libby got us. And she's right- Life Is Good when I'm with Dad).

And here I am on Sunday, getting ready to go for a walk, on March 1st. Bundled up like an Eskimo! "I can't move my arms!!! Maaaaa!"

I'm starting my next exciting phase- teething! Check out the pink cheeks and chew toys nearby. While I love my fingers, chew toys are great. Mom and Dad are not so thrilled, but once I get some teeth in, I'm sure my toothy grin will melt their hearts.
