Snow Day!

I had first snow day yesterday! Okay, so it was more ice than snow, and it was too cold for me to go outside, but Mom and Dad got to work from home yesterday. It was pretty cool to see everything covered in white and crystals. It started coming down on Tuesday night, and I got to sleep in the bassinette in Mom and Dad's room, cause Mom heard some funny noises while feeding me, and felt more comfortable having a sleep over. What fun! I did a great job sleeping in there.

This weekend is my first Super Bowl. Can't wait. Funny to think that this time last year, I was hanging out with Mommy but she wasn't quite sure I was there yet. I liked the food from Super Bowl last year!

My bald spot is growing (like me). I think I went through another growth spurt- Mom and and Dad weighed and measured me, and I seem to have gained 2 pounds and about 3/4 an inch since Christmas. Here's an updated picture:

Here's a funny picture Dad took of me getting eaten by my alligator. Funny how he grabbed the camera first before saving me. ;-)

I'm a totally giggle monster now. If you haven't seen it, check on my latest video on Mom's Facebook page.

More rolling over!

I think I'm close to rolling from my back to my front. I admit I'm not too motivated, as I love to be on my back, and only like to spend a little bit of time on my tummy. But with the way I'm kicking my legs, I might not have much choice! I hold my legs up perpendicular to me, then sway back and forth. It's a lot of fun, and it usually make me laugh. Here are some shots of me in action:

Yes, my shirt says "Irresistible". Cause that's what I am.

And later in the jammies Mommy loves for me to wear. I am pretty cute in them.

This weekend I should get a lot of Daddy time on Saturday, as Mommy has two (2!) tennis matches scheduled for then. That is if the weather holds out- the high temps keep dropping the closer we get to the weekend. It was beautiful today- around 80! Now for Saturday, they are saying the high is going to be 43- brrr. She was able to play on Tuesday night, when it was about that cold. So we'll see how it goes on Saturday.

I can fly!

Thanks to Dad! (I really do enjoy this- the camera is just too slow to capture me laughing in the air).

We had a good weekend. I got some great time with Dad on Saturday, while Mom was having lunch with friends. We took a nice long walk then got sandwiches. Sunday the three of us went to the park, then for another long walk. I saw lots of ducks and geese at the park, but we didn't stay too long, as it was chilly in the shade. But we did get pictures! Dad and I are practicing our "GQ" looks.

Today I watched my first inauguration. Glad I was at home instead of in those crowds! Also, I was asleep, as it was my nap time. But I was there (kind of) for a piece of history.

3 months!

Today is my 3 month birthday/anniversary. I've been spending the evening with my new best friend. There's this super cute, fun, giggly, active little guy in this round thing at the top of my activity mat- he's tons of fun, and very good looking. I love to play with him. Here's a picture of me talking to him:

I'm pretty good about sleeping almost all the way through the night, rolling over, and great at holding up my head. I'm wearing mostly 3-6 month clothes, with some brands fitting me better at 6 months. I'm now in stage 2 diapers. I'm almost ready to drive! Okay, not quite.

Back at Work

It was a busy week! Grandma came to visit, it was Mom's birthday, the Christmas tree was taken down with the rest of the decorations, and Mom went back to work today, with me going to a home care facility for the first time. My first day there, and Mom already has a cold. I'll go there every other day, then help Mom with work at home on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We'll see how that goes for a while. I'm the only boy there, and the youngest- so I get lots of attention. Mom and Dad miss me a lot when I'm there. I was wiped out by the end of the day, with so much to see and do there!

Grandma's visit was fun. She kept me laughing and talking. I practiced sitting up- here's a picture:

Grandma played with me while Mom and Dad went out to dinner for her birthday. They had a good time, but missed me, of course- I'm the life of the party! Here's a picture of me with her:

Tonight Daddy found my giggle spot. Or more like my belly laugh spot! He cracked me up when he zerberted my foot. I don't know why he chose my foot, but it was hysterical! He did it again and again, and I loved it each time. My daddy is great.

Bald spot

I like my hair. It's blonde like Mommy's and the pattern is like Daddy's. But I also like rubbing my head against my swing, my crib mattress, my car seat, trying to see what's going on. So I'm getting a little bit of a bald spot, just above my mini mullett. Check it out:

Hopefully when I get older and sit up, it will grow back.

I've been busy with my hands- they are such fun! I like to nibble on my hands, and last night I even found my thumb to suck on. Hmmm, Mom wasn't sure about that one. I like to hold on and grab stuff. Sometimes I make it to my mouth, sometimes not. Last night I grabbed the pacifier in my mouth and pulled it out- surprised me, cause I was enjoying it. These hands are great!!

New Year!

Hello, 2009! It's been good so far. I've slept through the night two nights in a row so far, which Mom and Dad love. I saw the New York apple drop on New Year's Eve at their friends' house, then we celebrated midnight at home- ugh, more kisses! Here are some pictures of me styling on NYE:

I've been wearing shoes in the New Year as well. They don't work very well right now, but Mom squeals every time she sees them, which cracks me up.:

Upcoming events on my busy calendar are a doctor's visit on Monday, then a visit from Grandma starting on Tuesday, and Mom and Aunt Lib's birthday on Thursday! Should be fun, and always, I'll let you know how it goes.
