Xmas recap

My second Christmas was so much fun! It started with getting a set of Christmas tableware. New fork and spoon to use!

Then on Christmas Eve, Daddy read "The Night Before Christmas" to me. And "The Night Before Christmas in Texas". Cause we're in Texas.

When we woke up, it had snowed! So before the presents, Daddy and I went out to say Hello to the snow. I did much better at wearing my mittens.

Finally, it was time for presents! Yay! We started with stockings, and Santa (courtesy of Grandpa and Grandma) left me some Santa Jingle socks! I loved walking around in them (and Mom and Dad liked knowing where I was).

Grandpa and Grandma got me a super cool chair, just for me! And not the cats (even when I'm away or sleeping!). I declared it.

Aunt Libby, Uncle Ben, Aunt Melly and Uncle Alex got me super fun toys! There was a tent and a tunnel, for me to crawl through (and not the cats- even if I'm not here or sleeping!).

And my own cleaning set! Now I don't have to share with the 'rents. I had fun cleaning all my new toys.

And something else I don't have to share with the 'rents- my own remote! It's super sized too. I love pressing buttons.

Mom and Dad got me a shopping cart. Since I like to help push theirs. And put things in baskets and take them out.

After all the fun presents, we went to the park, so I could swing in the snow. Loved it!

I also went down the slide, and tromped through the snow. It was deep in some places! I got snow on my shoes.

It was a great Christmas, thanks to my family and Santa. And today is New Year's Eve- the last day of 2009, which is my first full year. Thanks for still keeping up with me and my view of the world. More to come in 2010!

Early X-mas celebration

My, what a fun weekend! Peachie and Faux Pas came in for an early Christmas celebration, and we had a great time. Here we all are with cousins Shapleigh and Merritt (I was a bit worn out from all of the excitement).
They had lots of fun toys which they shared with me.
In return, I shared my Daddy with them.
But I made sure everyone knew he belonged to me, as I had Mommy dress me like him.
They have a big tent that was loads of fun to go in and out of. We didn't even mind bumping heads every now and then.

I played nicely for the most part. Though Merritt and I always seemed to want to play with the same toys and the same time. We all got some fun new toys. Here I am with my new Imaginarium.

Merritt got a little piano, which looks just like the big one, and since it makes noise, I had to go check it out.
Shapleigh seemed to like the dress-up outfit I got her. She wore it the rest of the night. It was the wedding dress from "The Little Mermaid", but for some reason her Daddy said she was a nun.
After all of the sharing of toys, I needed to keep some things to myself. Like my lil' crunchies. Even though Jake wanted some, and gave me puppy eyes. No way, mister!
Uncle Hugh learned pretty quickly that my days of sharing were over. See that hat he's wearing?
Well, look who has it now! Ha!
But I know I still have a few more days of having to be good left, till real X-mas comes. Santa even stopped by breakfast on Sunday to remind me.

Only a few more days!!

14 months!

A day late, again, from turning 14 months. We've just been so busy! Do I start all my posts with that? Anyhoo. It's been cold here! Brrr. Mom and Dad got me a new hat.

I totally rock it, but not to sure about wearing it. Or the mittens that go with. I think I'll just stay inside. Practice my walking (getting great at it!) and feeding myself. I've moved up to using a fork! Don't worry, that's ravioli sauce, not blood.
And if I make a mess, it's okay, cause I like to clean. Here are my new favorite things, a broom more my size and dustpan.

Mom thinks they look like skis. If only skis were as much fun! Other things I've been working on is trying to teach Dash to do a puzzle.

Doesn't seem like he's paying attention. I also like to give them their treats. I don't know why they don't come running when I call to them, and shake the snack bag. Hmmm.

On Sunday, Mom and Dad took me on a train ride, the North Pole Express! Kind of hard to get into the holiday mood when it was in the 60s, but having things like Frosty around helped. Surprised he didn't melt!

I liked watching the things move outside the window. We sang songs and then...

Santa came to visit! He came over to say Hi to me! Yay!

It was fun, and I love outings with Mom and Dad.

Holidays are coming!

We are into December, and the holidays are coming, ready or not! Last week, we actually had some snow when we woke up! Mom and I hurried outside, though I'm not really sure why. Snow is cold and wet. It didn't last long, but was pretty.

The 'rents are trying to get ready for Xmas. On Sunday, they took me to see Santa. Santa! We had to go to the mall three times, but I finally got some face time with The Man. He was nice. I wasn't too sure what to do, and I lost sight of Mom and Dad with the flashes, so I got a little upset, but he was very nice.
Other than that, Mom and Dad have been cleaning up after their bathroom was finally done. I try to help out. There's a lot of dust everywhere!

I have gotten some downtime. I love playing with my kitty siblings, like chasing Dash around.

He cracks me up!

Naked time!

Like my Uncle Ben, my favorite time is Naked Time! (with a little precaution taken).

What a cute toushie!

Last weekend, we went to the Stars game with my girlfriend Madeleine. It was a lot of fun! I loved that they had mini blimps floating around. And it was chilly, so we got to cuddle up.

Today was the big day! UGA vs GA Tech. I started the day in my red shirt. And practiced eating in it with a spoon by myself.

I did pretty well- I got about half of the food in by myself. Yummy peas!

After lunch we went to the park. I love to go swinging, and then on the slides. It was a lot of fun, and a very nice day.

I practiced walking in the grass with my shoes on. Sometimes I had to lead Dad around, so he wouldn't get lost.
And finally, it was time for the game! I have my bases covered, with my Tech hat, and my red shirt.

Okay, I was really rooting for Tech, and was pretty disgusted when they lost. Off goes the hat!

No Turkey day pictures this year. My mommy got sick, and missed dinner. She's better now. There's always next year!

13 months, and a day

Oops, a day late for my 13 month post. Just been having so much fun. Went to Mom's tennis match, and toddled through grass for the first time. Been doing a lot of hanging out with Daddy.

I love giving kisses, so it's important that I keep my teeth nice and shiny.

I love to cruise around the house. No hands is great!

and I love to help clean up. Like showing Daddy where his undies really belong. Hey, if I can put my clothes in the hamper, he should too!

When not doing that stuff, I just hang around looking totally cute. Which is a lot more tiring than it seems!
